Dear Friends of CCART,
As we complete the celebration of CCART's 25th Anniversary, we are happy to share our plans with you that will ensure that visual art scholarships will be granted in perpetuity. CCART has dissolved as it has existed for 25 years, but will live on through the Salisbury University Foundation. CCART scholarships will continue to be available through the Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. and will be awarded annually to students choosing the SU Visual Art program. Our goal is to award the first scholarship in 2025 for that academic year.
In preparation for this exciting CCART transition to the SU Foundation, we had our final fund-raising campaign which included a one-day YART SALE on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. We held the sale at The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore offices in the East Park Professional Center on Belmont Avenue in Salisbury. It was a well-attended, successful and fun fundraiser that helped provide scholarships going forward through Salisbury University.
We also continued to welcome donations through our website online option at donate online.
The CCART Board of Directors cannot thank you enough for your support of our organization and the talented youth who have benefitted from your generosity over the past 25 years. Below is a brief 25-year history about CCART.
